Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began at 14 years old. As well as BJJ classes as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. She repeated her dominance and picked up a more stunning victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya fell by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 at ESPN. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by majority decision.
