The artist was born on November 26 1986 on the 26th of November, 1986 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. The singer is the daughter of Vincenzo Barba, her father and Valerie Barba. Her family and she moved to Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was six years old. She finished her secondary schooling in New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. Then she attended Catholic University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture. Since the age of four, she has been a violinist"Violingirl" was her name. She was referred to by her name due to her appearances. She also taught kids from within the community playing the violin. At the age of 19, she appeared on Free 1976 in American Idol in the 6th season. She was eventually eliminated when she finished 16th in American Idol. There were several songs she performed such as 'The Christmas Song 2009' and 'Out For Blood 2010'. She also appeared in a variety of TV shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live!
