Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota is a journalist who is also an author as well as the anchor of CNN's morning program "New Day." She lives in Westport, CT, and was elected to Westport Country Playhouse's board of trustees. Camerota's 30 years of journalistic experience have included stories across the country and overseas. In addition, she has been awarded several awards including the Edward R. Murrow Award and the Emmy Award. In other board of trustees changes, Johnna G. Torsone of Stamford is appointed an honorary trustee after serving on the board since 2007, and Anna Czekaj-Farber of Westport is appointed chair following her service as board chair since 2013. Czekaj Farber replaces Barbara Streicker from Westport who was chair of the board for the past year and continues to hold this role since.
